The new name / new logo: Micromatic Team

While participating in the recent project (supported by Nadáciou Volkswagen Slovakia) a need of team name and logo has emerged. So the name "Micromatic Team" and the following logo were created and will be used to mark all of my following projects. You will notice it on my PCBs as well as my other future products.

My logo contains symbolic representation of all three areas of my interest: electronics, electrical and mechanical engineering.

Final Presentations at Nadácia Vokswagen Slovakia - 8.10.2013

      On Tuesday, October 8th 2013 presentation event was held at Volkswagen Slovakia factory, in Autoforum where the final presentations of projects supported by Nadácia Volkswagen Slovakia took place.

      Project FEITER 2 is displayed in the previous table as project No. 3. With the financial help of Nadácia Volkswagen Slovakia a Battery Management System (BMS) for the small electric scooter have been constructed.

          The BMS system coordinates processes of charging and discharging of Li-ion battery pack. More information is available here: PROJECT - VW_BMS.

         

Faculty Visitor Day - 30.1.2013

      SK: V stredu, 30. januára 2013 prebiehal na Fakulte elektrotechniky a informatiky ďen otvorených dverí. Pri tejto príležitosti bola pripravená pre záujemcov o štúdium prehliadka laboratórií a praktických ukážok výsledkov práce študentov a pedagógov. Pozrite si iekoľko záberov z tejto akcie:

Visiting students, coming from different secondary schools could atted presentations and shows of faculty labs and exhibiton of faculty student works. Táto stránka poskytuje informácie o návrhu a zostrojení elektrického skútra s názvom "Feiter 1" v mechatronickej dielni na Fakulte elektrotechniky a informatiky STU, v Bratislave.
This blog provides information about design and construction of a small electrical scooter called "Feiter 1", which have been constructed in mechatronical laboratory at Faculty of electrical engineering and information technology in Bratislava.

Zostrojený skúter si získal pozornosť laickej a odbornej verejnosti, a bol ocenený titulom "Ekologický počin roka 2012" na medzinárodnom veľtrhu EloSys, v Trenčíne.
The scooter has gained attention of laic and professional community, and was awarded "Environmental Achievement of the year 2012" at the international fair EloSys in Trenčín.

Projekt "Feiter 1" bol vypracovaný s finančnou podporou spoločnosti Kia Motors Slovakia, s.r.o., prostredníctvom Nadácie Pontis, a bol úspešne ukončený v júli, roku 2012.
Project "Feiter 1" had been supported by Kia Motors Slovakia, s.r.o., by means of "Nadácia Pontis", and was successfully completed in July 2012.

Na skútri je však stále čo vylepšovať, preto od sepetembra, roku 2012 prebieha vývoj novej koncepcie "Feiter 2", ktorý bude integrovať viaceré nové funkcie a vylepšenia.
As there is still place for improvements, design of a new concept of scooter is in process. Since September 2012 new functionality and several improvements were being developed and will be implemented in the 2nd generation scooter "Feiter 2".
